How we handle requests from authorities.

How to reach us

Requests should be sent to support@jointimefolk.com marked for the Trust and Safety team, on official letterhead, from an official address.

What we require

We disclose user data only where we receive valid legal process appropriate to the data sought, or where there is a genuine emergency involving a risk of death or serious physical harm.

We do not hold your identity document images or any biometric data: they are discarded at the moment of the check. What we keep from the document (name, date of birth, nationality, document type and expiry, and a hash of the document number) is included in an access request.

We do not hold precise location histories, because we never collect them.

Notice to users

We tell people about requests for their data before disclosure, unless we are legally prohibited, or where notice would create a risk to someone's safety or to a child.

Preservation

We will preserve relevant records on a valid preservation request while legal process is obtained.
