How to delete your account, and what we keep.

How to delete

From the app (Profile → Delete account) or the web deletion page at jointimefolk.com/delete-account.html, without needing to sign in to the app. Deletion of an account with no open bookings or safety cases is processed automatically.

If you have an open booking, it is cancelled under the cancellation policy first. If you are part of an open safety case, deletion is completed once the case closes or a legal hold lifts.

What we keep

Booking, price and payment records for the statutory retention period; safety case evidence for case close plus 24 months or until a legal hold lifts; your verification reference and document hash for 12 months (indefinitely if you were removed) to stop a removed account returning; enforcement and audit records for 7 years.

Everything else — profile, photos, messages, preferences — is deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 30 days.
